DESCRIPTION & SPECIFICATIONS

Our Tanami Plus awning is made from the same material as the flysheet of the Gordigear roof tents. It is attached to the tent with a combination of a zipper and rail system and consists of four walls (the rear wall allows access to the vehicle thanks to the large through-loading area) and a durable, removable floor (zipped). All openings are fitted with mosquito nets and can be completely closed.

Although the Tanami Plus awning can be used in the same way as the Tanami Light awning, its real strength lies in its ability to provide additional sleeping space for up to two adults. Of course, having the rooftop ladder inside the awning also has its advantages, especially when it rains. Furthermore, the entrance and rear wall openings are offset in height, creating a waterproof basin that prevents rainwater from flowing into the awning. We also offer optional extensions to allow installation heights above 210cm.

We offer this product in two different lengths, 170 cm and 200 cm. Please order the correct length for your vehicle. Extensions are available for extra-high installations, see below. They add 20 cm per extension.

The functional fabric is not only waterproof, it combines maximum breathability with excellent drying properties.

For our taped double seams we use genuine tent yarn from the German market leader AMANN.

From 25 years of experience we can say one thing with certainty: whether on a campsite by the North Sea or in the Australian outback, a weak point in the tent design will have long-term consequences.

Gordigear therefore generally does not use roof windows.
